1. Use of photographs and stock footage
Photographs and stock footage published in the Digital Archives of the Jomon Prehistoric Sites in Northern Japan (JOMON ARCHIVES) may be freely used, copied or transmitted to the public without paperwork. Commercial use is also permitted. To use the content, cite the source by following the examples of credits contained in the information of the photographs and/or videos. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy carefully before using the JOMON ARCHIVES.
2. Requests that you share with the Archives copies of your publications that include photographs and/or videos from the Archives
If you use photographs and/or videos in the JOMON ARCHIVES in a publication, such as a book, magazine or textbook, please send a copy of the publication (which shows how the photographs and/or videos were used) to the Secretariat for the Council for the Preservation and Utilization of World Heritage Jomon Prehistoric Sites and to the following local governments which hold copyright on the photographs and/or videos.
You may e-mail them as file attachments or you may e-mail the URLs of relevant pages to the Secretariat.
